Jerry O’Connell

An accredited Life & Business Coach and Project Manager, Jerry has been a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) since 1987, holds an MSc in Financial Services from University College Dublin and a Master’s in Business Administration from the National College of Ireland.  

Over the course of his career Jerry O’Connell has been responsible for many aspects of the Finance function and ancillary activities in diverse sectors and across different regulatory jurisdictions.

Over all, Jerry has spent 25 year’s working abroad with a variety of Boards, Audit & Finance and Governance Committees across the financial services sector in London, Sydney & Frankfurt and 13 years in the Public/Not for Profit sector in the UK and Ireland. Jerry has lead both Finance and Business Transformation projects with suppliers and outsourced partnerships.  He has worked in Senior Finance roles for Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) Frankfurt, Bull HN in London and Sydney and National Savings & Investments (NS&I) in London.

Jerry is originally from North Kerry and is a keen marathon runner. He currently lectures at Dorset College Dublin for the module “Doing Business in Global Markets”. He is the Branch Accountant at the Irish Red Cross Head office in Dublin and sits on the Board of the Dublin Dance Festival (DDF).
