One aspect we highly encourage our learners to get involved with when they start in Dorset College is to join a Club or Society. It is one of the best ways to meet new people, get involved with your colllege and find a new hobby!
On Monday, our Student Experience Lead held a tea and coffee meet-up for those interested in joining a Club & Society. The room was decorated in posters with QR codes around the room for those who wished to sign-up. There was also a suggestion sheet for people who would like to start their own society that we currently dont have in the college. It was great to see learners coming in and out, and talking to new peole they had never met before, but sharing a common interest. Our Clubs & Societies are student-led, and are a great source when studying abroad.
