  • Parade on O’Connell Street: The 2022 Dublin St. Patrick’s Day Parade starts at 12pm on Thursday, March 17th. It runs from Parnell Square, down O’Connell Street and ending at St. Stephens Green. Returning after a two year absence, hundreds of Irelands most dynamic and innovative performers, musicians, artists and much more have been working on delivering Ireland’s most ambitious street parade. If you are unable to make it, the parade will be broadcast live on RTE, and promises an exciting new look for millions of bystanders and viewers worldwide.   • Festival Quarter at Collins barracks: The Festival Quarter is a new addition for the 2022 festival. Located at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, The Festival Quarter will be home to a magical day-to-night urban festival. It kicks off on Wednesday, March 16 and runs until March 20. With a jam packed series of events lined up, the space will also play host to the Irish Food & Craft Village, a daily showcase of Ireland’s food and beverage produce, comedy shows, performance spaces and so much more!   • Breathe Festival: Wellness is set to be incorporated into this year's St Patrick's Festival in Dublin as Breathe Festival takes place on the grounds of The Law Society of Ireland on March 18th and 19th. The line-up for discussions currently includes The Happy Pear, The Useless Project and Davie Philips. Meanwhile, group yoga classes will be led by the and there will also be sound baths, strength and conditioning experts, a mobile sauna and plenty of food offerings.   • Harbour2Harbour Walk: Dublin walkers will set out to complete a massive 26km route to raise funds & awareness for Aware, the national charity supporting people impacted by depression and bipolar disorder. The Harbour2Harbour Walk spans the lenghth of the city from Dun Laoghaire to Howth (or vice versa). This event starts at 10:30am on St. Patricks Day.   • City Funfair: There’s something for everyone at the City Funfair, a firm favourite of the festival! From bumper card to old time carousels, the fair will light up the city with colourful carnival fairground attractions.
