Katie Quinn

Front Line Receptionist

Katie holds a BA (Hons) in English, Media & Cultural Studies from IADT, Dun Laoghaire, and is currently on her way of becoming a qualified TEFL teacher. She works as the Front Line Receptionist in Dorset College and provides valuable customer service and support to the business and all stakeholders.

Prior to joining Dorset College, Katie held a number of roles in customer service and administration work, and during her time in college she helped run their award winning FYM (First Year Matters) programme for two years in a row. They organised open days, events for students, workshops, panels, whilst also helping in areas relating to accommodation and general student life. Katie has a keen interest in language and its intersection between world cultures and society.

Katie has travelled extensively (and hopefully more so in the future!), loves literature, cinema and has recently rekindled her long lost love for knitting over lockdown.
