Katie holds a BA (Hons) in English, Media & Cultural Studies from IADT, Dun Laoghaire, and is currently studying to become a qualified TEFL teacher. As the Sales & Marketing Executive, Katie researches and develops marketing and sales strategies to help advance Dorset College. Alongside this, Katie also deals with aspects of content creation, managing various social media channels, qualifying sales leads and fostering the development of the Dorset College Alumni Network and Careers Hub.
Prior to joining Dorset College, Katie held a number of roles in customer service & administration work, and during her time in college she helped run the award winning FYM (First Year Matters) programme for two years. FYM organised open days, events for students and workshops, while also helping with queries of general student life.
Katie has travelled extensively, with hopes to do even more in the future. Over lockdown, she rekindled her love for Lego and can be regularly found showing off her latest creation.
