What was it about Dorset College and this course that appealed to you?
This course with Dorset College was part-time and intense. It was my choice as within a year I would gain an Honour’s degree. I knew it will be hard, but it was worth it.
How was your experience studying at Dorset College Dublin?
It was great! Everyone from the college tutors, along with the students and fellow class reps were amazing.
How has your experience at Dorset College influenced your professional development?
Finishing my degree with a First Class Honour’s degree in International Business has allowed me to get into a Business Analytics position. This course has a fantastic range of subjects, which are sought out in the business world. I am now in line to start a Master’s Degree in Data Analytics this September 2022. I would not have gone this far without an International Business Level 8 degree.
What recommendation would you have for those thinking of studying with us?
This course was very intense and short compared to other Honour level degrees which is what makes it great for people who work. If you are looking for a challenge and career progression in International Business, this is the course for you! It will allow you to explore the vast universe of business and its wonders! When you start, make sure to be ‘all in’ for your own progression and learning.

I have been following past students on LinkedIn, and their career progression inspired me to get my degree in International Business as this is what I have previous experience in.
How was your experience studying at Dorset College Dublin?
Excellent! Students and Lectrers have been extremely helpful. A big shootout to Nora in Business Research who was non-stop providing support - even during holidays!
How has your experience at Dorset College influenced your professional development?
I have moved into recuritment after being stuck for 5 years. I am now looking to get my CIPD qualification to move into the HR field.
What recommendation would you have for those who are thinking about studying with us?
Honestly, do it. It will change your life. Thank you to everyone in Dorset College for believing in me and pushing me when I didn't believe in myself. I am forever grateful.

What was it about Dorset College Dublin and this course that appealed to you?
The Bachelor of Business (Honours) in International Business offers a variety of modules that cover many different aspects of business. I was particularly drawn to this course as it places a strong emphasis on the practical application of theory, through the use of case studies, problem-solving tasks, projects and team work.
How was your experience studying at Dorset College Dublin?
I had a fantastic experience at Dorset College! The Lecturers encouraged collaboration and team work from all us students. We formed a real community that assisted learning, whether it was in the class, or after hours. This style of learning is filled with memories and has forged friendships which will last a lifetime.
How has your experience at Dorset College influenced your professional development?
This course has provided me with a plethora of business knowledge and skills that I can now apply in a professional environment in a variety of areas including project management, strategic management, e-Business strategy, corporate governance, financial management etc. The course has also provided me with the solid foundations and knowledge I require to pursue the next chapter of my educational studies at a Master's level.
What recommendation would you have for those who are thinking about studying with us?
Go for it! Studying business will help you tremendously at both a personal and professional level. This course will provide you with knowledge in multiple business areas on an international level and help propel your career. As well as the knowledge, you gain invaluable soft skills whether it is improving your public speaking skills through presentations, learning how to work in teams through group work, adapting your communication style for different business scenarios, or enhancing your critical thinking abilities by writing assignments or analysing case studies, there is something for everyone.

‘’I loved being a student at Dorset College on the International Business (Honours) Course. Having classes in the evenings and weekends really worked well for me as I was balancing work and sports too.
The skills and knowledge on offer were practical and useful, I put them to use straight away in my work. The lecturers were really helpful and supportive throughout the course. I especially enjoyed the group work we did on assignments as it allowed our class to get to know each other better. We learned a lot just from working with each other. I know this is a network of people that I will stay in touch with and hopefully work with in the future.
